As part of a joint campaign against third world debt, Baobabconnections (in partnership with Jubilee, Oikos, Both ENDS and Move Your World) has developed a new online competition in 2004. All they have to do is find a team mate, write an article on third world debt together and send it in before the deadline. The winning team earns € 1000 euros and a trip to Holland. BAOBABCONNECTION ORGANISES ONLINE COMPETITION ON DEBT CANCELLATION www.baobabconnections.org Baobabconnections is a non-profit internet based media project of Both ENDS. Baobabconnections encourages young people from across the world to get together on its website and exchange ideas about globalisation and sustainable development. To stimulate the interaction on the website, and to raise awareness about issues of globalisation, Baobabconnections organizes online competitions on the website. As part of our joint campaign against third world debt, Baobabconnections (in partnership with Jubilee Netherlands, Move Your World, Oikos, Both ENDS) brings you a brand new online competition. All you have to do is read about odious debt, find a team mate, write an article together and send it to us before the deadline. The African response has been overwhelming. We currently have 10 teams competing and over 40 African members are looking for a Dutch team mate. So without hesitation we want to invite you to join the competition. If you are interested, don't be afraid. Just go for it. You don't have to be a policy expert to join. Just find somebody online that you connect with and start your own process. Be creative. Learn about the issues. Have fun. Learn about each other. We hope you enjoy meeting our Baobabconnections family members in Africa. IMPORTANT NOTE: This competition is open for Baobabconnections members from Africa and The Netherlands only. Teams can only be made up by 1 person from Africa and another person from The Netherlands.
