BURMA: ACTION AT SCHIPHOL AGAINST AUA
Burma Campaign Austria - 15.11.2003 16:00
Austrian Airlines (incl. Lauda Air) is a target of actions because of its direct flights from Austria and Italy to Burma (Myanmar). Burma is ruled by a brutal dicatorship.
Amsterdam, 24 October 2003 - FNV campaigned against AUA/Lauda Air, in order to protest against that company’s flights to Burma. The FNV is the Federation of Dutch Trade Unions.
On 10 November 2003, BCN (Burma Center Nederland) organized a second action against AUA at Amsterdam national airport (Schiphol).
