According to a Bloomberg administration spokesperson quoted by Associated Press, the cleanup of Zucotti square has been "postponed".
This is a victory for the protesters. However, postponing does not mean that Bloomberg may not try again at some later point. So, vigilance in New York City and elsewhere is needed.

Er waren zo'n 2000 mensen in de vroege ochtend in het park, voor een deel ingehaakt, om een ontruiming tegen te gaan. Dat hebben ze daarom dan maar niet gedaan.
