"Those people should get a job"
says enough about how moralistic and completely compliant with the capitalist system you are. If there's anybody who would better be doing something useful, it is you instead of wasting your and our time on 'liberating fish'
Get a job?

this is a problem that lots of the animal rights movement (as well as other movement) faces today. Activist who have passionate ideals for the treatment of animals but fail to see the subject in a brother perspective. This results in claims as "get a job" as well as more right wing terminology. The mass abuse of animals that far out stands the "hobby" sector and found it ways in the factories and laboratories is a direct result of the capitalist system which main values are based on exploitation to gain more capital.

Al tough it is good that single issues are addressed, even if they are more consumer related. We will stand no change in stopping the structural abuse on animals if we don't directly attack the capitals system. Campaigns can be fought"separately" but through there communiques they should always speak of solidarity with the other anti-capitalist struggles and address the general critique on the system.

The exploitation of animals by the system is by it's cause no different then the exploitation of nature, migrants, womyn and any other oppressed.

good luck with further actions.
