Counter-info website goes live! contra-info - 10.06.2010 13:09
Contrainfo.espiv.net is an open and self-managed translation collective in the wider Greek anarchist/ anti-authoritarian/ libertarian movement. We aim to disseminate counter-information against the misinformation of totalitarianism, to connect the Greek anti-authoritarian movement with those from abroad, and diffuse anarchist discourse throughout society. The new project will be translating into and from an impressive 12 languages, aiming to offer a regular “counter-information bulletin” with news from the anarchist/anti-authoritarian and libertarian news from the country and so much more. Occupied London fully supports this new, exciting project! To get in touch and help out with translations in any of these languages, contact contrainfo@espiv.net Contrainfo.espiv.net is the result of an attempt to create a translation collective in the wider anarchist/ anti-authoritarian/ libertarian movement, as well as the living proof that the existence of such a collective is necessary. We are an open and self-organized undertaking that aim to disseminate counter-information*, connect the Greek anti-authoritarian movement with those from abroad, and diffuse anarchist discourse throughout society. Hence, we emphasize communication without mediation as a tool in the movement’s hands, as a precondition for a free society, as a means and an end. At the same time, this project complements and supports the independent counter-information network and similar undertakings abroad E-Mail: contrainfo@espiv.net Website: http://Contrainfo.espiv.net |

Once again anarchists attempt to reinvent the wheel or reproduce energy and activity already taking place elsewhere. What's wrong with occupiedlondon and libcom.org as well as to a much lesser extent infoshop and anarchistnews? What are you doing that's different? | |
