Opening noncommercieel speelcafe KARAMBA in Maastricht

Dinsdag 1 juni opent Kraakgroep Hickoryplein noncommercieel Speelcafe KARAMBA! Met muziek en schmink, koffie, koekjes en vele verassingen!
Een ontmoetingsplek voor ouders en kinderen.
Omdat er nog maar weinig plekken zijn waar mensen met kinderen bij elkaar kunnen komen zonder dat er geld of sociale laag een role bij speelt. Kinderen zijn in deze maatschappij op vele plaatsen ongewenst en als gevolg hiervan blijven bijna geen mogelijkheden voor mensen met een klein budget om hun kinderen te stimuleren en elkaar te ontmoeten. Behalve de speeltuin voor hun deur en dat alleen bij goed weer. Of anders moeten wel ze hun toevlucht nemen tot de speeltuin in het plaatselijke McDonald of Ikea waar de kinderen als bijkomstigheid ook meteen worden opgeleid tot goede consumenten.
Daar willen wij verandering in brengen!
Wij hechten waarde aan een non-commerciele opvoeding zonder hersenspoeling door de geldige opvattingen over status, gender en autoriteiten.
Speelcafe Karamba is gevestigt in een gekraakt pand, daarom dat we deze initiatief überhaupt kunnen beginnen.

Tuesday 1st of june: grand opening of non-commercial playcafe KARAMBA!
A meeting point for parents and children.
With music, circus-make-up and many surprises!
Because there are few places left where people with kids can come together without attention to money or social status. In our society, children are unwelcome in many places and as a consequence there are almost no possibilities for people with a small budget to stimulate their kids or to meet each other. Except of course the playground in their neighbourhood - if the weather is right. Otherwise they have to suffice with the playground in their local McDonald or Ikea where their kids also get educated to become good consumers.
We would like to change that!
We believe in a non-commercial education without brain-wash by the dominant ideas about status, gender and authorities.
Playcafe Karamba is located in a squatted house, that's how this initiative is even possible.
