(A*dam West) EVICTION THREAT, SUPPORT DESPERATELY NEEDED

Last March we squatted Rombout Hogerbeetsstraat 10, a building that had been empty for over three years, with overwhelming support from the neighbourhood. Now, barely four weeks after the squatting action, we had to learn from the Parool paper that our court case had already been taking place on the 8th of April without our knowledge, and that we were ordered to evict the place by April 16th.
Tomorrow, Friday the 16th of April, according to our lawyer, the bailiff will try to evict us with some (regular) police, but because we and our lawyer are going to appeal this court decision, we're not planning on leaving. Because of this, we need lots of people, preferably before 7 a.m. in the morning. If there are people wanting to stay overnight here, feel free to do so, there are plenty of mattresses and couches. Tomorrow we will provide coffee, tea, cookies and some Spanish toasties.
Next week hopefully we'll have our appeal and we really need to keep this place until then. So, if you have nothing better to do, please come and help us... :-)
