 Het getuigt van weinig historisch besef als je een quote uit het boek "Animal Farm" voor je festival gebruikt. Het boek dat juist het ontsporen van het gelijksheidsdenken beschrijft. Het is trouwens ook verfilmd. Waarom deze niet getoond? En ik voel me nogal gediscrimineerd omdat de post in het Engels is!

 We beseffen ons heus wel dat Animal Farm over het ontsporen van communisme gaat, wat resulteerd in onderdrukking en ongelijkheid. We hebben de quote in een ander daglicht geplaats. Dat vonden wij wel prikkelend. Jij kennelijk ook :-)

Een van de verfilmingen van Animal Farm is niet zo heel lang geleden al vertoont in de Linkse Kerk.

De organisatie van het filmfestival is in handen van een internationale groep.
