We inform the national and international community the following:
The Lof [Community] of Yeupeko-Filcun takes responsibility for the actions of resistance that were carried out in different areas of Wallmapu with highway blockades and cuts to high voltage cables, cutting access to five roads including “Camino Tres Cerros,” “Ñilquilco,” “Camino Vilcun,” “Niagra,” and the Temuco by-pass.
These actions carried out in a simultaneous and coordinated fashion, are to demand the purchase and the transfer of the usurped territories by Jorge Luchsinger to the Lof [Community] of Yeupeko-Filcun. If a prompt response is not given to our demands, we will radicalize our actions.
We denounce the militarization and constant raids on the part of State repressive bodies such as Carabineros [Chilean National Police], Intelligence Officers (PDI), and undercover officers that day to day circulate throughout the roads and estates of our Lof [Community] with the intention of intimidating and harassing (to the point of beating and uttering death threats to children, women and elders) for the sole fact of struggling for the liberation of our Mapuche Nation.
We demand the immediate freedom of all the Mapuche Political Prisoners jailed in various penitentiaries throughout the Chilean State.
