Dit jaar komt de NAVO samen in Straatsburg van 3-4 april. Zij zullen dan hun 60ste verjaardag vieren en wij zullen dan hun afscheidsfeest organiseren. 60 jaar is genoeg!
Deze avond wordt weer een spannende mix uit informatie, achtergrond en vermaak. Allereerst verzorgd Gipfelsoli een presentatie over de NAVO's betrokkenheid bij binnenlandse veiligheid. Centraal staan de voorstellen zoals die in het nieuwe strategie-papier "Towards A Grand Strategy for an Uncertain World" gemaakt worden.
Daarna volgen laatste updates over de geplande protesten in Straatsburg, met informatie over bussen, actieplannen en politie-repressie in Frankrijk/Duitsland. De avond wordt afgerond met een bonte verzameling van internationale NAVO acties die onlangs plaats hebben gevonden, en een kijkje op de G20 protesten die op 1&2 April in Londen zullen losbarsten.

This year the NATO is gathering in Strasbourg from 3-4 April. They will celebrate their 60th anniversary and we will organize their farewell party. 60 years is enough!
This evening will be another exciting mix of new information, background information, and fun. First, Gipfelsoli will give a presentation about NATO’s role in domestic security enforcement, particularly the proposed plans outlined in NATO’s new strategy paper, “Towards A Grand Strategy for an Uncertain World". Afterwards, there will be updates on the action plans for Strasbourg, more information about busses going to Strasbourg, and information about police repression in France and Germany. The evening will close with a report back on the recent international anti-NATO actions and look forward to the G20 protests that will descend upon London on 1-2 April.
