Na het succes van het Palestina Café in Utrecht zal het Café nu ook Leiden aandoen.

"Palestina Café 12 december in Leiden

Na het grote succes van het Palestina Café in Utrecht zal het Café nu ook Leiden aandoen. Het Palestina Café is een grassroots initiatief van verschillende individuen die solidair zijn met de Palestijnen. Maandelijks wordt het café in een andere plaats in Nederland gehouden. Tijdens het café worden korte presentaties gedaan, documentaires getoond en ideeën en ervaringen uitgewisseld. Doel is uitwisseling en versterken van het netwerk van mensen die zich inzetten voor de bevrijding van Palestina.
Het Palestina Café in Leiden wordt op 12 december gehouden in de Linkse Kerk op de
Hooglandse Kerkgracht 4. Inlichtingen:

- Rens van de Bulck vertelt over zijn reis naar Jenin waar hij tijdens het olijfoogstfestival de nieuwe fabriek van Canaan Fair Trade bezocht

- Simone Korkus woont en werkt in Israel en heeft een boek geschreven over Palestina met als titel: De Belofte en het Land

- De organisaties Stichting NAS en Stop de Bezetting uit Leiden stellen zich voor

- Meer over de Boycotoproep met als titel Boycot Desinvestment Sanctions (BDS)

- Gelegenheid voor aanwezigen om aankondigingen te doen

21.30 - Muziek optreden door Ali Achkouder (luit muziek)
