dodenherdenking wel vaker hypocriet

 Er stond een paginagrote oproep in de kranten voor de dodenherdenking. Met niet alleen de aantallen slachtoffers in de tweede wereldoorlog die herdacht werden, maar ook een overzicht met de gesneuvelde soldaten van daarna. Daarbij ook de ongeveer 5000 doden tijdens de politionele acties in Nederlands-Indié/Indonesië. De naar schatting 150.000 Indonesiërs die hierbij om het leven kwamen hoeven we in Nederland natuurlijk niet te herdenken.
Ik ben helemaal niet tegen dodenherdenking. En dat mag best over meer gaan dan de tweede wereldoorlog. Maar liever wel minder nationalistisch.
