Beste mensen,

In de nacht van zondag 11 op maandag 12 november jl. is Léo overleden. Hij viel van het dak van zijn huis in Lyon naar beneden; men gaat uit van zelfmoord.

Léo was jarenlang betrokken bij de strijd voor een betere wereld. Persoonlijk en politiek zette hij zich onder andere in voor vrouwen en kinderen, met name slachtoffers van seksueel geweld.

Pas geleden was Léo in Lyon gepromoveerd op zijn onderzoek:
"De « L'Ennemi Principal » aux principaux ennemis.
Position vécue, subjectivité et conscience masculines de domination".

Léo wordt vrijdag om 14.00 uur in Lyon gecremeerd.

We zijn met velen zeer verdrietig over dit verlies.

 there are no words to begin to describe the pain this loss causes - of someone you not only shared such an important part of your life with but who was also so gentle, so bright, so funny ... so unnervingly kind to others and yet so fierce when it came down to defending those who were weaker ... and so hard on himself
I hope his words and thoughts can continue to live in all of you, in all of us
