Helft Amerikanen wil nieuw 9/11 parlementair onderzoek

Wat al jaren circuleert op het Internet haalt nu eindelijk de media in België: het amerikaanse opiniepeilings instituut Zogby meldt dat 51% van de amerikanen een écht onderzoek wil naar het drama van 9/11. Men begint te begrijpen dat die "arabieren' het niet gedaan kunnen hebben.
7 September 2007 - Iets meer dan de helft van de Amerikanen (51 procent) wil een parlementair onderzoek naar de daden van president George W.Bush en zijn vicepresident Dick Cheney tijdens en na de aanslagen van 11 september 2001. Dat blijkt uit een enquête die vandaag werd gepubliceerd in de VS.
Bij het naderen van de zesde verjaardag van de terroristische aanslagen in New York en Washington vindt een derde van de ondervraagden dat er in de Kamer van Volksafgevaardigden een afzettingsprocedure moet worden opgestart tegen Bush en Cheney.
Volgens het onderzoek van het instituut Zogby in opdracht van de organisatie "0911truth.org" is meer dan tweederde van oordeel dat de onderzoekcommissie over 11 september had moeten natrekken hoe het zat met de onverklaarbare instorting van een WTC-gebouw van 47 verdiepingen (WCT7) in New York, bijna acht uren na de aanslag op de Twin Towers.
In dat gebouw, dat op 11 september 2001 om 17.20 uur instortte, waren onder andere de hulpdiensten van de stad, de kantoren van de CIA, van defensie en de immigratiedienst ondergebracht. De instorting van dat gebouw werd destijds 'live' gemeld door de BBC een kwartier voor het gebouw effectief instortte.
De enquête werd telefonisch uitgevoerd tussen 23 en 27 augustus bij een duizendtal volwassenen. De foutenmarge bedraagt 3,1 procent. (belga/dm)
