With a political crisis in Pakistan, the ongoing war in Afghanistan, and
unresolved tensions between India and Pakistan, there is every danger of
further regional destabilisation in South Asia. Our guests discuss the
current situation and a potential role for Pakistani and Dutch civil
society in securing the future of the region.

Ms. Dr.Ayesha Siddiqa, Military Expert and Researcher on the ‘political-
economy of marginality and extremism in Pakistan’

of Labour Education in Karachi and a founding member of Pakistan Peace
