A banner reading "Exploitation, Poverty, Murder. Do You Know What The G8 Does?" was dropped from a construction crane in Amsterdam City Center today. The action was done in solidarity with the anti-G8 demonstration being held that day outside of Heiligendamm Germany.
While the action was taking place, demonstrators distributed leaflets explaining themselves to pedestrians. The
A street march through city-center took place directly after the banner drop.
