Amsterdam sir: Ungdomshuset blir!

Vandaag hebben wij een spandoek opgehangen om onze solidariteit te tonen met Ungdomshuset en met de arrestanten die het pand de afgelopen dagen hebben verdedigd.

Het behoud van Ungdomshuset is een symbool van de striid om ons leven vorm te geven zonder dwang van de overheid en de discipline van de markt. Het verzet is overal, en wanneer Undomshuset ontruimd wordt zullen we ons verzetten zoals we dat zouden doen wanneer het ons eigen huis was. Dat is het is in feite ook. Het vormt een schakel in de gordel autonome sociale ruimten waardoor we ons vrijer door Europa en door de wereld kunnen bewegen. Wij eisen het behoud van het pand en de onmiddelijke vrijlating van alle arrestanten van de afgelopen dagen. Amsterdam sir’: Ungdomshuset blir!

Today, we made a banner drop to show our solidarity with Undomshuset and with the people that were arrested while defending it in the previous days.
The existence of Ungdomshuset is a symbol of the struggle to shape our lives without oppression by the government and the discipline of the market. The resistance is everywhere and if Ungdomshuset will be evicted, we will resist as if it were our own house. Which in fact it is. It is one of the autonomous social spaces through which we are able to move more freely across Europe and across the world. We demand an end to any attempts to evict Ungdomshuset, and the immediate release of all those arrested. Amsterdam sir’: Ungdomshuset blir!
