The attacks of the colonialist fascist dictatorship against our party, MLCP, revolutionaries and socialists are increasingly continuing.

On the 21st of September, tens of associations, newspaper, radio and trade-union offices in different cities of Turkey and Northern Kurdistan have been raided by the police and special teams, dozens of revolutionaries are being taken in detention. The repression is still continuing.

The central office of Atilim Newspaper, its offices in different cities, the central office of ESP (Socialist Platform of the Oppressed) and its branches in different cities, Ozgur Radio, the central office of the Textile-Sen Union and its branches in various cities, the central office of the Limter-Is Union (Dockyard workers` Union), offices of SGD (Socialist Youth Association), the Workers neswpaper Dayanisma and EKD (Labourer Women Association) in different cities are among the places which have been raided.

The houses of many people, who are working for these organisations, revolutionary and socialist are also raided. The police made hours of searches in the offices and seized the computers, letters, phonebooks, private notes of the office workers and all other materials. The Istanbul police have shown the warrant issued by the 14th Heavy Penal Court as the pretext of the raids. But there was not mentioned any reason on the warrant document. 26 people were taken into custody in various cities due to the police operations started on 8 April, 23 of them -5 of them are journalists- including the Chief Editor of Atilim Newspaper, Ibrahim Cicek and the Chief Coordinator of Ozgur Radio, Fusun Erdogan, were put in prison. The workers of the offices, which are raided by the police, announced that they going to make a press meeting in the Istanbul Branch of Human Rights Association at 13:30.

On the other hand, by making a statement headed "You are not strong enough to defeat us", the European Office of Atilim Newspaper has called on all workers and labourers, revolutionary and democratic organisations to fight against the terror spread by the Turkish state. It was said "This is a preparation for war. This war is being waged against the workers and labourers, the Kurdish people, women and the youth".

They are calling on all sensitive people to make bombardment of faxes and phone calls to the Ministry of Interior, Prime Minister, Anti terror Branch and Istanbul Headquarters of the Police in order to stop the operations and for the release of detainees.

Here is the list of organisations which has been raided by the police:

ISTANBUL
Ozgur Radio: While Halil Dinç, the news coordinator, is taken under police custody with the pretext of a warrant against him, Sinan Gercek has also been arrested because of being a responsible official person of the radio. The police seized 10 computers, diaries, phonebooks and workers` private notes. The police, wanting to seize also the computer where the radio was broadcasting, was prevented by the radio workers. After that, the police took the copies of hard disc containing music archives. News Coordinator Halil Dinc and Sinan Gercek shout "Ozgur Radio cannot be put in silence" while they were taking to the police car.
Atılım Newspaper Central Office: Songül Akbay, Ilden Dirini, Ayse Koc, Yilmaz Koruk, Aydin Nayir, Ozan Dogan, Fehmi Kilic, Mahmut Ozcan y Akin Caglayan were taken into custody.
Atılım Newspaper Kartal Office: Selver Orman from ESP is taken into custody.
Güneş Ajans where the technical work of Atilim Newspaper is done- Ozge Kelekci, Kadir Aktas and Onder Oner are taken into custody.
BEKSAV (Science, Aesthetic, Culture and Art Centre)
Socialist Youth Association
Istanbul Central Office of the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed (ESP)-Istanbul representative, Figen Yüksekdag is taken into custody.
Gülsuyu Art and Life Magazine
Mustafa Kemal Neighbourhood Association -Chairman of the association, Seryoldas Akar is taken into police custody. The people of the neighbourhood have clashed with the police in order to defend the chairman of the association. The clashes continued for hours despite the intervention of the police with gas bombs.
Labourer Women's Association -Association's chairwoman, Cicek Otlu and Gulay Boran are under police custody. .
Textile-Sen Union Central Office- President of the union, Ayse Yumli Yeter is taken under police custody.
Limter-Is Union Central Office-President of the union, Cem Dinc and the general secretary, Zafer Tektas were police custody.
BEKSAV workers were taken out of the bus by the police while on their way to home. Serdal Kilinc is taken into police custody under the pretext of not carrying his ID card with him.
In addition, Yusuf Demir, Emin Orhan, Abbas Duman, Ozcan Dilekli and Hasan Cagin were taken into police custody in Istanbul.

IZMIT
Socialist Platform of the Oppressed (Kocaeli) - the police made 3 hours of search and left the building by taking some notes.

IZMIR
Atılım Newspaper - The police seized many computers, CDs, diskettes and private letters.

In Izmir Cankaya, Ikram Cali from ESP was taken under custody and she was imprisoned today.

DENIZLI
The Denizli Branch of Textile Sen Union has also been raided by the police.

ANKARA
Socialist Platform of the Oppressed
Labourer Women's Association.
They seized all computers, CDs and cameras in the offices.
Hasan Cosar from ESP is taken into custody on the street.
Semra Yalcinkaya was also taken into custody in Ankara.

MUGLA
Baris Kelleci, Arzu Onay and Kemal Findikcioglu were taken into custody after the raids against their houses. Arzu Onay and Kemal Findikcioglu were imprisoned today.

MANİSA
Zeliha Yildirim y Murat Uludag were taken into custody after the raids against their houses.

ADANA
Adana office of the Atılım Newspaper - The police did not take anybody into custody, but seized all materials and equipment in the office.
In the house raids, Havali Mengi, Arzu Mazi and Diren Yıldız, were taken into custody.

MERSIN
Murat Selenoğlu and Teacher Hacer Kocak has been taken into police custody in Tarsus.

ISKENDERUN
9 revolucionaries were taken into custody after house raids: Ali Guden, Nurten Guden, Mesih Yangin, Zahide Bektasli, Ridvan Bektasli, Elif Sertkaya and three more revolutionaries.

ANTEP
ESP Office
SGD Office
The police have also entered into the houses of the people from ESP by breaking doors. The names of the people whose names are clarified in Antep: Sevim Olcmez, Hasan Çandir, Oruc Gunes, Isa Yazici and 3 more people called Can, Eser and Gülbeyaz whose surnames were not learned.

DIYARBAKIR
Diyarbakir office of Atilim Newspaper and houses of the Newspaper workers have been raided by the police. The police, who seized the computer in the office, also arrested 12 people. Their names are: Diyarbakir Atilim representative Serdal Isık, Seyhan Namaz, Ilkay Dogan, Erkan Akhatun, Murat Mutluer, Alpaslan Yerlikaya, Canan Yilmaz, Elif Guzel, Medine Kose, Tansel Cakmak, Seyhan Emre, and Rıdvan Tekes.

MALATYA
ESP office was raided and searched.

ANTALYA
In Antalya, it was learned a woman called Meltem Sahin is arrested and taken to the Istanbul Headquarters of the Police.

RIZE
Socialist Youth Association of Findikli is raided, but the names of the people who have been taken into custody are not yet learned.

KAYSERI
ESP Office- Muharrem Demirkaya, the representative of ESP in Kayseri and Satiye Ok have been taken into police custody.

SIVAS
The Culture Center "Sanat Ve Hayat" - 3 revolucionaries were taken into custody.

ANTAKYA
Hayrettin Aslan, Neyfel Avci, Ilker Tatlipinar, Sibel Colak. Senol Sagaltici, Erdal Tunc, Sezgin Tunc, Dilek Keskin, Soydan Daduk and Tuncay Yildiz has been taken into police custody after the raids against their houses.
