Hoe is dit mogelijk?

 Wàt een rotnieuws is dit! Maar ik vraag me ook af hoe het mogelijk is dat het zo ver kon komen. Is het in die bijna dertig jaar dat het pand in de huidige woonvorm bestaat echt onmogelijk geweest om het zelf aan te kopen (zoals dat in de rest van het land wel kon met oa Vrankrijk) of op te laten kopen door een bevriende woningbouwvereniging (zoals Hotel Bosch, De Pontanus, De Wilde Wereld enzovoort)? En hoe kan het dat er nauwelijks geld is voor rechtzaken terwijl daar -neem ik aan- dertig jaar de tijd was om daar potjes voor te reserveren?

Dit is zo'n fantastisch mooi pand! Dat laat je toch niet uit je handen glippen?! Uiteraard moet er nu alles aan gedaan worden om het pand te behouden of in elk geval de bewoners aan een vergelijkbare plek te helpen. Maar een goeie evaluatie van de afgelopen jaren is wellicht wel op zijn plaats. Ik krijg het gevoel dat hier kansen zijn gemist...
