Phyllis Bennis is a Fellow of both the Transnational Institute and the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington DC. She is a journalist specialising in the Middle East, the United Nations and US foreign policy. Her most recent books are “Before & After: US Foreign Policy and the War on Terrorism” (Interlink, 2002) and “Calling the Shots. How Washington Dominates Today's UN” (Interlink, 2000). “Challenging Empire” will be on sale at the launch or contact Andrea Sturkenboom for more details.
