AKZO NOBEL AND DHL PROTEST May 20th - Amersfoort/Netherlands: For two hours activists of Respect voor Dieren handled out a thousand leaflets about Akzo Nobel Chemicals and their disgusting connections with HLS. These chemical companies are totally sick. Testing chemicals on animals. How dare you! Akzo Nobel poisoned 100 rats during 2 years within HLS by adding chemicals to their food. These kind of tests are helping no-one. So enough is enough. The megaphones went on, god we love those things. Face to face we shouted at the employees telling them about the sick plans of their bosses. At the reception two pictures were put up with sweeth dogs. These people have no glue about their involvement with animaltesting. But that's over now. Tell your bosses you don't like that shit. Akzo Nobel is not only into chemicals, but also has a pharma division (Intervet, Diosynth and Organon) and killing animals on their own as well. We had an excellent demo and great reactions from the public. No statement means more angry business!! (The businessman who you refused to open the doors for because we were standing next to him, walked away angry. This behaviour is not helping you either) DHL HQ PARTY DISTURBED. We love parties from the enemy. As uninvited and unwanted guests we arrived. The securitypeople freaked out and started running and calling. Panic, panic. Angry activists are in town! The megaphones went on (did I already tell you that we love those things?). 150 guests had a drink and a snack outside DHL, sitting in the sun. The DHL HQ was officially opened. "DHL, 500 ANIMALS ARE KILLED AT HLS EVERY DAY, STOP WORKING WITH THEM, DHL!" Our voices were heard and we embarassed the DHL management. Thanks to the great tip from a sympathatic DHL courier, who had a slip off the tong. We will go at places you don't want us to see. We arrive at times you meet up with your business relations. We will appear on television, standing next to you at a live show. WE do what WE want, and we do it for the animals. Better give in now DHL, or we will embarass you again.
