Om 13.00 start vergadering commissie algemene van de gemeenteraad alwaar damoclash en pakhuis afrika zullen inspreken over de onredelijke benadering door de gemeente rondom het ontbreken van vergunningen in pakhuis afrika.
maar creatief opstandig amsterdam laat zich niet haar zoveelste vrijplaats afpakken. en bereidheid om noodzakelijke voorzieningen te treffen in het pakhuis is er in overvloed. De Afrika blijft dus open!

Als gevolg van de onmogelijkheid een gebruiksvergunning aan te vragen
heeft de gemeente ons verboden evenementen met meer dan 50 bezoekers te
houden.
Bovendien heeft de eigenaar, Heijmans, een bouwvergunning voor zijn
plannen voor meer kantoorruimte en luxe koopappartementen in Pakhuis
Afrika gekregen.
Wij laten ons echter niet onze vrijplaats afpakken!

Pakhuis Afrika under threat!
As a result of the impossibility to apply for a use permit the
municipality forbid us to have events with more then 50 visitors.
Also the owner, Heijmans, received a permit for his plan to built more
empty office space and luxury apartments in the Pakhuis Afrika.
But we will not give up our autonomous center!
