Maar veel mensen weten niet eens dat deze video bestaat. Persoonlijk ben ik het niet eens met de visie dat UFO's per se buitenaards zijn. De grays zijn eerder demonisch.

A Summer Interning on Capitol Hill

On May 9, 2001, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., a historic conference took place, the likes of which the world has never seen before. An international panel of journalists attended the event, later covered by CNN Headline News, ABC, the BBC, FOX, The Washington Times, The London Sunday Express, Pravda, and other outlets around the globe, the largest in National Press Club history. Over 250,000 people waited online to view the webcast live over the Internet, despite the attempts at jamming later reported by the president of Connectlive.com. When the crowded conference was finished nobody was laughing, and nobody was making jokes. The topic was something that has up until now been the subject of official denial, secrecy, ridicule, and professional disinformation for over fifty years, but in reality is one of the most serious issues facing the world today. On May 9, the first 21 of a list currently numbering over 450 high-ranking witnesses in government, military, industry, and intelligence came forward with unambiguous testimony and documentation establishing the reality of UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence.
The credentials of the witnesses are indeed impressive: John Callahan, former Division Chief for the Accidents, Evaluation and Investigation division of the FAA, Brigadier General
Stephen Lovekin, Lt. Col. Charles L. Brown, former Defense Intelligence Agency official John Maynard, NASA contractor Donna Hare, Dr. Carol Rosin, Sgt. Karl Wolfe, to name just a
few. Clearly, these professionals aren’t just Ma and Pa seeing little green men in the barn anymore.
"At times I used to carry nuclear weapons," said witness Major George Filer III at the press conference. "In other words, I was mentally fit to carry nuclear weapons, but I’m not mentally fit if I see a UFO. This criticism and this ridicule have done more to keep the story coming out than almost anything else." *
"One of two scenarios is true," once stated five-star Admiral Lord Hill-Norton, Disclosure Project witness and former head of Britain’s Ministry of Defense, "Either these people entrusted with nuclear weapons really saw and experienced what they did, or they were mass-hallucinating. Either scenario would and must be of great importance to National and International security."
Dr. Steven Greer, M.D., International Director of the Disclosure Project and founder of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), describes himself as just a country doctor from Virginia. In reality, he has no reason to be so modest. As a lifetime member of Omega Alpha, the nation’s most prestigious medical honor society, Dr. Greer gave up his career as an emergency room physician to work on the Disclosure Project full time. He now describes his life as being more like something out of a James Bond movie, a course that has taken him to the highest levels of government and deep into the covert world.
Beginning in 1993 he began traveling the globe to identify firsthand military and government witnesses to UFO events and projects, as well as obtaining pertinent documents and other
materials. Dr. Greer and his team spent a great deal of time briefing the Clinton Administration, including the sitting CIA director James Woolsey, selected members of the House and Senate, senior military officials in the Pentagon, UN officials, and others. The Disclosure Project is calling for full and open congressional hearings on the UFO/ET matter, the last of which officially took place in 1968, criticized by many researchers as staged and marginal. While many of these officials privately supported the Disclosure Project, they were unwilling at the time to stick their necks out and take such a politically risky move without more popular support.
In 1998, Dr. Greer and his team set out to "privatize" disclosure by raising funds to videotape, edit, and organize witnesses (called the Witness Archive Project). They estimated they would need between $2 million and $4 million to do this on a worldwide level. By August of 2000 only about 5% of this money had been raised, mostly from the personal funds of dedicated supporters, but because of the time-sensitive nature of the movement, they deemed it necessary to move forward without further delays. Witnesses were interviewed on tape from August 2000 to December 2000, and beyond (up to the present). In late December 2000, they began editing over 120 hours of raw digital testimony and reduced this to 18 hours of super-select testimony. The other testimony was transcribed and is available in book form through the Disclosure Project website, along with a four hour witness tape. After working for 7 days a week and over 18 hours a day under the most arduous time and funding constraints, the group emerged with a set of witnesses and supporting documents that is sure to rock the world with enough time and honest, comprehensive coverage by the mass media.
The legitimate questions left on the minds of many were simple in formulation, yet extremely complex to answer: Why all the secrecy, who is responsible, and how was all this
accomplished? The answer to this enigma lies in the same controlled resource that has dominated the global power structure for a hundred years: Oil. As has been established by the testimony of DIA official John Maynard, US Air Force Radar Controller Michael Smith, and numerous others, the establishment of wealth and power resulting from the control of
petroleum assets will be directly challenged through revealing the existence of UFOs. It now seems that advanced vehicles of extraterrestrial origin (called ETVs by those in the know in
the intelligence community) have been downed, retrieved, and studied since at least the 1940s. These vehicles, believe it or not, do not run on Chevron with Techron. Rather, they use advanced energy generation and propulsion systems that utilize a new physics humans outside the covert world are only beginning to understand. Scientists have called this source of power zero-point, or vacuum space energy. As anyone who is familiar with the politics of free energy systems can tell you, suppression of these astounding technologies in the name of "national security" has been taking place since the time of Nicola Tesla. If ET technologies were declassified and deployed for their peaceful benefits to society, it would signify a
significant shift in global-economic power, allowing third-world nations the ability to industrialize cheaply, cleanly, and without all the resulting environmental damage. Finally, this is all beginning to make sense.
So who is responsible for this level of greed and corruption, and how have they maintained their power and secrecy? According to Disclosure Project witness Brigadier General Stephen
Lovekin, the controlling entity is operating outside normal congressional oversight, with a total disregard for the normal constitutional chain of command. It now seems that certain
presidents have even been kept out of the loop.
"But what happened was that Eisenhower got sold out," Lovekin stated in his testimony. "Without him knowing it, he lost control of what was going on with the entire UFO situation. In his last address to the nation, I think he was telling us that the Military Industrial Complex would stick you in the back if you were not totally vigilant. And, I think that he felt like he had not been vigilant. I think he felt like he had trusted too many people. And, Eisenhower was a trusting man. He was a good man. And I think that he realized that all of a sudden this matter is going into the control of corporations that could very well act to the detriment of this country."
Brigadier General Lovekin worked directly under President Eisenhower in May of 1959 in the White House Army Signaling Agency and later under Kennedy with an above top secret
clearance. In his complete testimony he talks about how official disinformation and ridicule were used as tactics to make examples of anyone too outspoken on the subject, as well as
lethal force.
"In the councils of Government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the Military Industrial Complex," Eisenhower stated in his last address to the nation in January of 1961. "The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals so that security and liberty may prosper together."
"There exists a shadowy Government with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism, and the ability to pursue its own ideas of the national interest, free from all checks and balances, and free from the law itself," stated Senator Daniel K. Inouye of Hawaii during the Iran Contra Hearings.
According to witnesses, this controlling entity works illegally through government contractors like Boeing Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, Northrup, Atlantic Research Corporation, JPL, and others, through what have been termed Unacknowledged Special Access Projects (USAPs). Basically, if you don’t have a need to know and your psychological profile flags you as potentially dangerous to secrecy, you won’t be told. It doesn’t matter if you are the President of the United States or the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, you will not have a need to know.
What is even more disturbing concerns the currently proposed, National Missile/Space Defense system being promoted by the Bush Administration. While limited space defense
systems using reverse-engineered ET technology are already in place and being actively used in a hostile way against ETVs, it seems as though an expansion of this system is being
sought through normal congressional funding. In response to this, the Disclosure Project is calling for a complete ban on all space-based weapons. Legislation to this effect will be
introduced in the House this fall by Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), as an attempt at dislodging this militaristic course.
No hard evidence exists for these visitors being somehow hostile to the human race, and it seems as though this idea has been born out of the fear, paranoia, and violence characteristic of our own species, rather than theirs. One needs only to look at the last century of racial conflicts on our own planet to understand why this might be the case. They seem to have more of an interest in our own self-destructive tendencies, with a flurry of sightings occurring after our first detonation of nuclear weapons. A fear-inducing subculture was intentionally cultivated through a corporate-influenced media, all with the intended effect of creating support for this aggressive agenda when the time is right. Promotion of bizarre abduction stories are the direct result of this fear-induced mental paradigm. Dr. Carol Rosin, an internationally renowned Disclosure Project witness who worked directly with Dr. Wernher Von Braun, the father of modern rocketry, explains this agenda. Dr. Rosin was the first woman corporate manager in the aerospace company, Fairchild Industries.
"Wernher Von Braun never spoke to me about any of the materials that he knew related to extraterrestrials except that one day extraterrestrials were going to be identified as an enemy against whom we were going to build these weapons, and that all of that was a lie," she said. "He mentioned that extraterrestrials were going to be identified as the final enemy against whom we were going to build space-based weapons back in 1974. The way he said it to me, there was no doubt in my mind that he knew something that he was too afraid to talk about."
According to Rosin, Von Braun asked her to swear on his deathbed that she would do everything she could to stop this kind of propaganda before it started. The way she sees it, the fact that we are still alive after thousands of years of vulnerability is evidence enough for ET non-hostility. These witnesses only represent the tip of the iceberg, now 450 strong. They are all willing to give testimony under oath when congressional hearings commence. A proffered legal theory is that all government oaths to secrecy on this matter are null and void, as they are extra-governmental, outside the Constitution, and therefore illegal. As it is, the deepest witnesses are yet to come. In the meanwhile, Dr. Greer has begun a highly successful national campaign and is rapidly gaining international attention. The idea behind this is to give the politicians enough of a public mandate to act in a way that will save our environment and construct a sustainable future for the world.
I initially viewed the press conference from my computer a few days after it took place. While I found the witness testimony convincing, there was still that lingering doubt that somehow this might be the world’s most elaborately orchestrated hoax. I decided to take an internship with Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-NM) for the first half of the summer, and then a second internship with Senator Pete Domenici (R-NM) for the second session, to stay in D.C. as long as possible.
Wanting to help the Disclosure Project, I emailed the group and asked if there was something I could do during my stay in Washington, D.C. Little did I know that this one move would lead to the most extraordinary summer of my life. As chairman of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, I knew that Bingaman was in a key position for enacting any potential legislation. I received an email back explaining that Dr. Greer would like to have lunch with me and the next thing I knew I was waiting outside Lauriol Plaza, a Latin American restaurant in Adams Morgan.
He drove up on a bicycle wearing sunglasses, exactly opposite of what I expected from the black necktie look of the press conference. He later explained to me that he had to keep a low profile, which required a certain amount of disguise. After talking for about an hour, I thanked him for his time and was excited to do a little digging of my own.
"I have one last question," I said as we were about to depart. "Why aren’t you dead yet?"
"They tried, but don’t worry," he replied. "We have good cover."
Unsure of exactly what this meant at the time, I later found out that he is indeed working with several high-ranking members of the Pentagon. He believes that about 40% of the
controlling entity now wants this information and technology out, and to a certain degree, they have turned on themselves. I have no doubt that they too enjoy breathing the clean air of Earth.
I began by talking to different staffers in my own office. While some had heard of the Disclosure Project and took me seriously, I didn’t seem to be getting anywhere. I then decided to talk to some senators directly about the matter. Waiting in the senate underground subway for a few afternoons after role call votes had taken place on the floor, I had the opportunity to talk with Senator Dan Inouye, alone on the way back to his office. After some discussion, he told me directly that he had dealt with the ET issue extensively back in 1976 when he was chairman of the Senate Select Intelligence Committee. Needless to say, my jaw dropped to the floor. It was one thing to watch the witnesses speak through an Ethernet cable, another thing entirely to hear a senator of the United States tell me this was a real issue in person.
I later attended another Disclosure Project conference in Charlottesville, VA. Here I heard DIA official John Maynard speak about how his former job was to cast doubt in any crowd of
UFO witnesses by making random, unjustifiable assertions about the credibility of anyone reporting a sighting, as well as playing up natural, small contradictions in their accounts. Their general strategy was to attack the witnesses, avoiding the evidence of any case at all costs. At another conference at the International Platform Association back in D.C., I had the opportunity to meet Astronaut Gordon Cooper, a Disclosure Project witness and living testament to the reality of the UFO-related events he experienced. He and Astronaut Edgar
Mitchell, Ph.D. are two of our nation’s heroes, and surely they wouldn’t risk their credibility in some kind of crazy moneymaking scheme.
In my last days of interning I began distributing copies of the Executive Briefing Summary document randomly around the Hart Senate office building, trying to get as much information on this out there as possible. While the Disclosure Project had distributed these documents to every office in the House and Senate, I had a strange feeling that many of these were seen by mid-level staffers who took one look at the word UFO and threw this information directly in the trash. Working with another intern from New Mexico, Michael Haley, we also placed a document directly in to the hands of Senators Lieberman, McCain, Jeffords, Feinstein, Wellstone, Miller, Breaux, Dodd, our own Senator Bingaman, and a few others - basically anybody who might be considered maverick enough to take up the issue. Congressman Steve Schiff, also from NM, was the last politician to make official inquiries on the matter, and it is public knowledge that he too was told he didn’t have a need to know. We later find out that Dr. Greer has personally briefed over 25 members in the House and Senate over the years, so it was unlikely that our efforts accomplished too much, but it was nice to be a part of the process anyway.
Many politicians are dancing around the issue. It’s unlikely they will act until enough public cover is generated, which won’t happen until the media elevates this to the position of
national importance it deserves. It has been charged that many major newspapers like the Washington Post have arrangements with the intelligence agencies to selectively ignore stories which may affect the "national security." So much for the fourth estate!

Also included are links to all the media coverage, for those looking for different perspectives. Like many of the church authorities who refused to look through Galileo’s telescope, believing they already had a monopoly on truth, there will be those who still laugh at the idea we are not utterly alone in this immense and wonderfully complex universe. I have no doubt that in five years time this idea will seem as ridiculous as the notion the Earth is flat, something 99% of the world believed at one time in history. In short, defamation without investigation is ignorance.
At least witness Danny Sheehan, the famous lawyer from the Iran Contra Hearings and legal counsel for the Disclosure Project, isn’t laughing. He provides testimony on how President
Carter was denied access from this information by then Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, George Bush Senior. Neither is Laurence Rockefeller, who funded the now famous
Best Available Evidence (BAE) report.
An article of this length is meant to convince no one — the claims are too extraordinary and the subject is simply too immense. Instead, we believe the evidence is strong enough now
that anybody approaching the subject with a healthy amount of skepticism in both directions will be able to wade through all the disinformation and come to the conclusion that this warrants a greater amount of attention, unless they have a biased need to protect their version of a universe nearly void of intelligent life.
