Aktie tegen collectieve uitwijzing in België

Op woensdag 14 april om 14 u deden een dertigtal mensen van het VAK (vluchtelingen aktie komitee) en het CRACPE (collectif de resistance contre les centres pour etrangers) een prikaktie op de luchthaven van Zaventem. Ze protesteerden met de aktie tegen de collectieve uitwijzingen van de vorige maand en de collectieve uitwijzing van Guineese vluchtelingen eerder die dag.

Volgens het VAK zijn collectieve uitwijzingen in strijd met de mensenrechten, bovendien vreest het VAK dat wanneer er geen buitenstaanders aanwezig zijn bij deze collectieve vluchten, er veel vlugger en veel meer geweld zal gebruikt worden om de vluchteling uit te wijzen. Tenslotte wil het VAK erop wijzen dat het europees parlement zich heeft uitgesproken tegen de gemeenschappelijke charters georganiseerd door lidstaten.

Eerder die dag waren reeds twee activisten van het VAK opgepakt toen ze nabij de luchthaven van Melsbroek de collectieve uitwijzing probeerden te 'observeren'. De twee mensen werden spoedig vrijgelaten.

Onder veel persbelangstelling begon de aktie om 14u15, wanneer een spandoek met de slogan 'stop deportations' aan ballonnen werd opgelaten, vlak voor het bord met de vertrektijden en buiten het bereik van de bewakingsdiensten van de luchthaven.

Een spandoek werd ontrolt met de slogan 'STOP collectieve uitwijzingen' en onmiddelijk daarop begonnen militairen willekeurig mensen te controleren op hun identiteitspapieren, waarna diegenen die geen papieren hadden gearresteerd werden en een wit masker kregen opgezet, symbool voor de vele onbekende vluchtelingen die worden teruggestuurd naar de ellende die ze ontvlucht zijn.

Tenslotte werden ook pamfletten uitgedeeld aan de mensen die op de luchthaven van Zaventem aanwezig waren en werd de pers te woord gestaan.

Het VAK zal blijven aktie voeren tegen deze collectieve uitwijzingen die onaanvaardbaar zijn in een democratische samenleving.
