Nieuwe plek voor Autonoom Centrum Amersfoort (ACA)

Na veel pech breekt er dan eindelijk weer een positieve tijd aan voor het Autonoom Centrum Amersfoort. 1 maart moest het kraakpand aan de Utrechtsestraat leeg achtergelaten worden. Daarom werd eind januari de Dump en Trend aan de Korte Gracht gekraakt. Met dit pand bleek de gemeente echter vergevorderde plannen te hebben waardoor een verdere bezetting geen meerwaarde leek. Vervolgens is begin februari een groot kantoorpand van de Univé aan de Arnhemseweg gekraakt. De eigenaar kon de Officier van Justitie echter wijs maken dat in het jaar dat het pand leeg stond de nodige karweitjes en klusjes in het pand uitgevoerd zijn. Met behulp van de politie is het pand weer ontruimd.
Nu is het ACA verhuisd naar onderstaand adres, een kraakpand in het centrum van de stad, ongeveer 15 minuten lopen vanaf het centraal station. Zoals het er nu naar uitziet kunnen de activiteiten hier sowieso een jaar voortgezet worden. Maart wordt gebruikt voor een grondige verbouwing zodat in april het programma weer begint. Dan is er weer elke donderdagavond veganistische volkskeuken en vervolgens een infoavond. Kijk op de website voor het volledige programma.
