Platform Keer het Tij wil de komende vier jaar (of zo kort als het kabinet blijft zitten) maatschappelijke organisaties bundelen en acties coordineren tegen de niewe kabinetplannen. Een eerste focus zal net als vorig jaar liggen rond Prinsjesdag. Er ligt op dit moment een voorstel om op zaterdagmiddag 13 september vanaf het Malieveld in Den Haag een demonstratie te organiseren.

Net als vorig jaar biedt Prinsjesdag een goede gelegenheid om te protesteren tegen de kabinetsplannen. Om dit jaar een nog grotere opkomst te realiseren, willen we dit de zaterdagmiddag voor Prinsjesdag doen. Een demonstratie dus uitmondend in een manifestatie op het Malieveld. Op die manifestatie wordt op verschillende podia en in tenten in clusters gezocht naar speerpunten voor verdere acties. Daar kunnen verschillende clubs vanuit hun eigen invalshoek hun bezwaren tegen de kabinetsplannen voor het voetlicht brengen.

Om deze plannen te bespreken is er een grote platformbijeenkomst gepland.De bijeenkomst is in eerste instantie voor vertegenwoordigers van de 233 organisaties die aangesloten zijn bij Keer het Tij. Maar ook organisaties die nog overwegen om zich aan te sluiten zijn welkom. Dat kunnen ook lokale organisaties zijn.

- Datum platformbijeenkomst: Vrijdag 20 juni 2003.
- Zaal open: 13.30 uur.
- Aanvang: 14.00 (tot max. 16.00 uur).
