An "Albanian National Army" planting mines near Vranje on the roads would be a very obvious terrorist activity. But except for the information on Serbia Today, there is no confirmation found on other Serbian news sources, like B92, FreeSerbia, or even the Serbian government website. ---------------------------------------------------------- RFE/RL Newsline, 12 February 2003: A SERBIAN RED HERRING FOR KOSOVA? Serbian State Television reported on 11 February that units of a shadowy Albanian National Army have crossed from Kosova into the Presevo Valley region of southern Serbia, Deutsche Welle's Serbian Service reported. But in Prishtina, United Nations civilian administration (UNMIK) spokesman Simon Haselock told RFE/RL that the UN has no information on the formation of paramilitary units in Kosova and their crossing into Serbia. Meanwhile, in Belgrade, Serbian Justice Minister Vladan Batic called on UNMIK to extradite to Serbia for war-related crimes three of Kosova's most prominent public figures and former guerrilla leaders: Hashim Thaci, Ramush Haradinaj, and Agim Ceku. Finally, KFOR commander General Fabio Mini told RFE/RL in Prishtina that conditions are not right for Serbian forces to reenter Kosova, as Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic has demanded (see "RFE/RL Newsline," 3 and 4 February 2003 and "RFE/RL Balkan Report," 31 January 2003). ---------------------------------------------------------- On 24th of March, it was confirmed that KFOR did arrest Albanians from Albania in the last three days, who were transporting guns and ammunition to Kosovo via the border village of Gorozhup near Prizren. And also a bomb explosion happened at a police station in Prishtina. But no terrorists yet planting mines near Vranje on the 4th anniversary of NATO bombing of Yugoslavia...
