Real US motifs The wide scale US-British military aggression, which had been waged against Iraq in 1991 was only one link within the long chain of American long-range strategy aiming at re-drawing the map of Arab Homeland in favor of American-Zionist goals. The American long strategy was projected in advance, as it stretches back to the period of 1970s, specifically at the time America had founded rapid deployment forces. Their goal is control oil wells in Arab Gulf when necessary, or in case a revolution anti-American presence to break out. The basic thing had motivated America to draw its wide-scale strategy of aggression on Arab Gulf was its mounting interest in it since the wake of 20th century. That interest mainly represented in sending missionaries, later on, especially after exploring oil, that American interest changed to be of economic nature, a matter pushed America to compete with, and overcome British presence there, when it had gotten the privileges of exploiting and extracting the region oil. Thus, the period during and post World War II was mainly the beginning of American new colonial age in Arab Gulf region. The aforesaid prelude shows that American greed in the region is not newly born, on the contrary it goes deep in history. So, in a bid to cover up its colonial intentions, America had gone to create the flimsy pretexts of mass destruction weapons, since this will enable it to interfere in Iraq home affairs, and lay the US domination over the whole region. What really going on is that America creating a foothold in Arab Gulf through setting up its military bases and mobilizing its military fleets and troops, which due to attack Iraq, because it allegedly fails to cooperate with UN resolutions. But the excuse of attacking Iraq is only the shape, because the essence of the whole matter is that America through deploying its forces in Arab Gulf, aims not only to attack Iraq, it also aims at increasing American military presence in the region. This will help impose American conditions on the region states, and indirectly control the Gulf oil, especially that it represents a sensitive nerve for most of industrial powers in the world, which might in one way or another impose some sort of competition on American interests here and there. The American intensive presence in the region also serves Israel, as it secures its share of American support, and maintain Israeli superiority to the region states by American pressure on them to halt any kind of support to the Palestinian people, while America stockpiles mass destruction weapons in Israeli arsenal.
