Coalition: extra money for public transport PPP - 14.06.2002 13:59
The Liberals (VVD), Christian Democrats (CDA) and polulist party List Pim Fortuyn (LPF), which are in talks to form a coalition government, have agreed to invest extra money in public transport. But no specific amount was mentioned. In particular, the three parties want to spend more money on much-needed maintenance of rail tracks. Separately, VVD, CDA and LPF yesterday failed to reach agreement on gas exploration in the Wadden Sea in northern Netherlands. |
