The vereniging responsible for the building which hosts the station has given Patapoe until next monday [16th] evening
KEEP THE LAST REAL FREE MEDIA ON AIR!!!
to get the threat of an armed raid on the building called off and find a way to keep transmitting without our antenne standing in the way of the vereniging's application to the local authority for a user's license. If these conditions are not met, Patapoe has been requested to cease FM transmissions and remove our antenne.
All messages of support are welcomed and should be sent without delay to patapoe @ freeteam.nl. TIME IS TIGHT!
Representatives of the station have arranged a meeting with the head of the local authority next monday. The outcome of this meeting may well be crucial in determining the future of Radio Patapoe in it's present location. Support messages already received plus all those received by monday morning will be printed and presented at this meeting. If we are able to demonstrate MASSIVE local and international support, it may well tip the balance in our favour.
Transmissions continue on 97.2FM.
